After a stint in Beijing as an active member of the Irish community, Mat now directs his attentions to the St Patrick’s Society, and has also been working on this month’s Irish Festival with the Irish Consulate. Though sporting an English accent, he’s a proud Irish passport holder and can sing you anything from Christy Moore’s back catalogue.
This Captain of Cathay Pacific is so good they elected him the President of the Society twice. In his capacity as President, Graeme sought to drag the Society kicking and screaming into the 21st century – the digital age. Whilst modernizing many aspects of the Society, his legacy will be the many more subtle changes that will serve and preserve the Society well over its next 80 years. Now that’s something to tweet about !

In the addition to her Committee responsibilities as President, Lynne has taken on the job of looking after her beautiful new baby boy Christopher. A huge congratulations to Lynne and her husband Matt. She is also the Committee’s whizz PR machine, so she is sure to have you all in a spin on the dance floor tonight.
When he was just four years old, it was rumoured that Fergal was overheard saying that he would never join the committee of the St Patrick’s Society. Some years later, Fergal has now become a stalwart of the committee.
